Having previously entrusted us with the design of his Tribeca apartment, our client returned to us as he entered a new chapter in life. What began as a home for a couple took on even greater significance when they became engaged during the course of the project.
The great room serves as the heart of the home, bringing together cooking, dining, and everyday living within a single open space. Guided by the clients' desire for a home that felt uplifting, relaxed, and welcoming, the room balances openness with comfort. Warm neutrals and muted tones create an atmosphere that is calm, equally suited to quiet mornings and family gatherings.
Moving deeper into the apartment, the atmosphere becomes quieter and more intimate. Conceived as her haven within the home, the primary suite was designed to feel calm, private, and restorative. Soft forms, warm neutrals, and a restrained palette create a sense of ease, resulting in a space that feels more like a refuge than a bedroom.
While many of the home's spaces were designed to be shared, the den was created with him in mind. Equal parts office, dressing room, and personal retreat, it supports the routines that shape his day, from work and reading to music and quiet moments alone. Custom millwork brings order and function to the space without sacrificing warmth or character.
Created with visiting family in mind, the guest bedroom was designed to feel considered rather than secondary. Comfortable, inviting, and distinctly its own, the room offers guests a welcoming place to settle in and feel at home.
